"Belt and Road" Initiative offers excellent opportunities for Malaysia to boost its economy, according to Yong Ah Pwi, life honorary president of Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC).
"Belt and Road" Initiative, presenting a win-win approach to peaceful coexistence and mutual development, instills vigor and vitality into developing countries, and provides potential for developed countries to adjust their strategy, commented Yong Ah Pwi.
Being one of the focal points of "Belt and Road" Initiative, Malaysia should take advantage of its location and natural resources to actively participate in "Belt and Road" Initiative, said Yong Ah Pwi.
He advocates that Malaysian enterprises and experts find new areas of cooperation with China's development strategy along Maritime Silk Road.
Malaysia should also push forward the construction of Trans-Asian Railway to boost bilateral trade, emphasized Yong Ah Pwi.
